I spent friday night and saturday in london and had the best time! It's my friend's birthday monday so he took us to G-A-Y Late in Soho which was incredibly fun and resulted in A LOT of singing and most definitely some ridiculous dancing but that's why I haven't posted in a few days. I had every intention of blogging on the train but was just far too excited/tired/just generally forgot.  However, I've finally recovered and am back to blogging!

I also had the most traumatising experience (definitely a slight exaggeration) at the end of the trip though and I just have to vent about it! I left my friends house with plenty of time to spare so decided to take a visit to Primark. On Oxford Street. On a Saturday. You can tell I'm not used to London as I felt 30 mins would be a perfectly manageable amount of time to get in, grab some goodies and get out. HA! So it took me about 20 mins to fight my way through the crowds (i genuinely felt like i was completing an army assault course) before I approached the till and could not believe the size of the queue! Here's the tragedy. I waited for 10 minutes before I just had to leave or risk being stranded in London for another night as well as forking out another £40 for a ticket home. I had to leave all the lovely things I had picked up (boo hoo) AND then I missed my train anyway! What a nightmare! I'm going to have to take a trip back to re-find the goodies I left behind at some point so it's not all bad but I found some lovely pieces, some of which were on my wishlist. I'm super impressed with Primark at the moment and will definitely be taking a trip into town at some point this week to see if I can grab any bargains.
