It's no secret that I love vintage. Vintage furniture, photographs, clothes. Especially clothes! I often go through phases of vintage shopping as it's no light task. Hunting out gems is much more of a mission than some people think, but the rewards are so worth it! I love the idea of taking something that someone no longer loves and giving it a new lease of life.
I've managed to build a lovely collection of vintage through the years, and at such little cost as well! I've found that I have an attraction to two things in particular: sequins and velvet. This makes vintage shopping for A/W absoloutely perfect for me (and not so great in the summertime). I just thought I'd take you through some of my latest finds.
Scarf, £1.49
This, no doubt, will get lots of use this winter, it's lovely and warm and will update so many outfits to this season. I'm gradually adding to my tartan collection...
Top, £2.99
This top is just amazing! My mum actually spotted it and clearly she knows me well as I love it! The sparkles will be perfect for christmas time (and god does it sparkle!) and I'm looking forward to the challenge of finding something to wear with this space!
Bag, £1.50
Another amazing find, although it was so cheap because the strap on top of the bag was actually broken. I've superglued it for now and I've left it in the hands of my dad to find another way to attach the longer strap (if dad can't fix it, noone can!) so I'm hoping it will be useable pretty soon. I just couldn't resist buying it as I have never seen anything like it before, it's so quirky and no doubt will be used A LOT when it's fixed (fingers crossed!)

What are your best vintage finds?
