GEORGE DRESS | NEXT HAT | VINTAGE SCARF | F&F BOOTS | TOPSHOP, NEW LOOK & RIVER ISLAND RINGS

I remember that I spent weeks last winter looking for a floppy hat. I looked everywhere only to find that they were sold out and finally got lucky in the next sale. Just one hat remained on the peg so I snapped it up and have been in love since. I just love the bohemian feel it adds to an outfit and makes me feel all hippy-like. Of course, the day I chose to wear it, the wind decided to pick up half-way into town meaning that I either had to keep one hand on the dress and one on the skirt, or sacrifice the hat all together. I'm ashamed to say I sacrificed the hat and frantically shoved it back on every time the wind died down (only to whip it off 10 seconds later). It's safe to say I looked a little more windswept that this when I got back!
Around the same time I got the hat, I picked up this silk scarf from a charity shop and it is truly beautiful. It features a peacock and has it's brightly coloured tail and flowers running down the sides. The bottom is finished off with beaded tassels which occasionally get caught on my tights but is otherwise lovely! I just love how unique it looks and I've never seen anything like it since.
I also love to max-up the jewellery with this sort of outfit to match the bohemian vibe so chucked on a load of rings (one of which is upside-down!) some beaded bracelets and a necklace. Et Voila!
