Topshop Giveaway Goodies*

Thursday, 5 December 2013

Back in October (where has the time gone??) I entered a giveaway over on ellaboobeauty. I had stumbled upon the site and loved the design and posts and Ella had some lovely topshop makeup up for grabs so without hesitation, I submitted my entry! To be perfectly honest, I had forgotten all about it until Ella contacted me a few weeks ago to say I had won! I was so happy as I haven't tried much topshop makeup before and I know how much bloggers rave about it so was dying to try these goodies. I've just got little snippets for you today, but I'll be posting reviews on all the items in the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled for those!!! Ella posted the nail polish, lipstick, eyeliner and highlighter along with the cutest little british-inspired card to congratulate me.
First of all is the Glow Highlighter in Gleam. Now, when I first opened this, I thought it was actually a cream eyeshadow. Topshop describe the colour as rose gold which is pretty spot on. It's lovely and subtle on the skin and will also be perfect as an eyeshadow. Love a 2-in-1!!
Next up is the Kohl eyeliner in Sable. I've always used a black eyeliner and this is a dark brown, but comes out very dark so it's perfect. It's lovely and creamy and not scratchy at all (the worst thing with an eyeliner!).
I also received the Nails in Gypsy Night which is a black nail polish with glitter. It looks very goldy in the picture but the glitter is actually multicoloured with blues, silvers, name it! The colour will be perfect for christmas and I can't wait to wear it.
Lastly is Lips in Rio Rio. This is the item I was most excited about. It's a great punchy red with a matte finish (LOVE THIS!). I'd heard great things about this and for good reason!

So keep your eyes peeled for more detailed reviews with swatches soon and thankyou very much Ella for the prizes!

  1. I've wanted Gypsy Night for ever! + I love Topshop make up :) x

  2. Well done you! :) I've had my eye on Gypsy Night for ages and I'm always tempted to try it out.
How do you rate the Topshop nail polish range? I've yet to try it and would love to know what the quality of it is like.
