Lush Think Pink Bath Bomb

Wednesday, 22 January 2014

I somehow managed to organise a secret santa between my friends just before christmas. Normally my organisation skills leave a lot to be desired, but it all ran smoothly and I received a lovely set of goodies from my sender. In amongst a nail varnish, lip balm and bracelet, I had a think pink lush bath bomb*. Now I'm a massive fan of lush, and not just because of the delicious scents they attach to their products, but also because of the ethical values they are so careful to encourage and support. I'm not a regular user of their bath bombs (mainly because of the price for one use) but when I do get one, it's a lovely treat! Anyway, I couldn't wait for the perfect opportunity to try out this little ball of cuteness (which, by the way, is fit for a princess!) and, of course, had to document the story for you all!

So the bomb itself is a pink colour with three flowers sitting on the top which remind me of the little edible ones you get on top of cupcakes! It has my name written all over it (not literally!) and not to mention smells DELISH. So I popped it into the bath and immediately it started fizzing. It released the pink colour, gradually turning the bath pink and continued to trash around in the water for a few minutes. Of course, this I was expecting, but I have to admit that I was a little disappointed when the display finished and I realised that bits of the bomb had broken off and sunk to the bottom. It wasn't until I scooped up a handful that I realised they were actually little hearts! How adorable? The lasted a fair while before they dissolved in the water (even through there were still a few left at the end)

The verdict? I loved this at first sight and the little surprise inside was just the icing on the cake. Thumbs up Lush! You've created the girliest bath ever!!

What's your favourite lush bomb?

  2. Wow I love this! The hearts are so pretty I really want to grab one of these for myself :') they would also make great valentines gifts x

  3. This ones my two daughters fave LUSH bath bomb :) Smells so amazing and the smell stays for a good while once the bath is over & emptied x

  4. I've yet to purchase a Lush bath bomb as it seems quite pricey for one bath but I really like the look of this one. The little hearts at the bottom of the bath is such a nice touch. I'll have to have a little browse the next time I go shopping.

  5. Such a shame most Lush bath products break me out!
