 | BENEFIT SEXIEST NUDES EVER* | L-R bikini-tini, holy smokes!, milk it!, pause for applause, raincheck?, blingo! |

You may have noticed that I’ve become ever so slightly obsessed with Benefit recently, popping up reviews all over the place. My previous review featured the ‘easiest nudes ever’ set which I absoloutely love (find the review here) and today I have another set from the world famous neutrals collection to show you all. This one is named ‘sexiest nudes ever’. I actually won this also in an Instagram giveaway. I already owned the previous set and when I saw this on offer, I just had to enter. Lucky I did!

So in terms of packaging and the look of the product, its along the same lines as the easiest nudes box. This set features a more purple-based colour scheme and creates a much darker and more statement look. I’m not so sure I would class these shades as being either neutral or nude but I definitely love how they work together. Again, you get 4 powder shadows and 2 pots of cream shadow within the box and a little ‘tips and tricks’ booklet. The set retails at £23.50 which may seem quite steep but, works out at just under £4 a shadow which is more than reasonable.
Again, benefit have chosen some quirky names for these shades:

bikini-tini- a cream shadow in an oyster pink shade

holy smokes!- a cream in a smouldering charcoal, a great base for a smokey eye

milk it!- a pearly white which is great as a highlighter in the middle corners

pause for applause- a soft lilac with a hint of pink

raincheck?- a smokey amethyst which is dreamy when teamed with either pause for applause or holy smokes!

blingo!- a brilliant silver which is seriously pigmented and sparkly

My favourites have to be pause for applause and raincheck? I just love the way they work together and they create the most flawless smokey eye time after time. As I mentioned in my last review, I’m not a big eyeshadow wearer and, to be honest, am happy with a bit of smudged eyeliner to create a smokey eye. This set is fool-proof, however, meaning even I can create an eye to be impressed of.

I’m a huge fan of the world famous neutrals collection and will definitely be adding the final set to my collection; most glamourous nudes….watch this space…

  5. Gorgeous! I love the nudes, it's nice to have a variety and not just a variation on browns and tans.

  6. I really like these little eyeshadow kits Benefit do. I have the pink coloured kit. Although I have to admit I'm obsessed with the boiling concealer.
