Bourjois Liner Feutre Review

| Bourjois Liner Feutre £6.99 |

I'm a lover of eyeliner, especially a felt-tip eyeliner. I don't have the steadiest hand, especially when holding a mirror and my eye in the right place, so anything that makes drawing a perfect line on my eyelid that little bit easier, I'm all for!

So when I spotted the bourgois liner feutre in Boots while searching for a 3rd item in my 3-for-2 offer (story of my life!)
I had to pick it up. I've tried a few felt-tip liners in the past and haven't found one which ticks all the boxes so this was worth a try.

The application of this is just perfect. It's easy enough (even for me!) to create either a thick or fine line perfectly. The felt-tip makes it glide over the eyelid, minimising mistakes, and the size of the nib is just idea for a flick at the end. The colour is seriously pigmented and definitely lives up to it's name of ultra black. A single layer creates a bold enough black to define the eye, without needing to go back over and darken.

So I'm wearing this throughout the day, probably only for around a couple of hours before I do a quick lipstick check, when I notice my flicks have pretty much worn off. Now I do have a tendency to touch my face, but I don't usually find my eyeliner fading because of this.  After a few more hours, the line on top of my eye had also started to fade- theres nothing worse than a worn-off eyeliner! The packaging promises 24 hours, but mine didn't last anywhere near as long as this. I'm really disappointed as I had high hopes for this. I've seen reviews raving about it, but for me it just didn't work.

Let me know if you've also tried this product and what you think!

  1. Shame you didn't get along with this one! I haven't tried it, i usually stick to my tried-and-true, collection felt tip liner. They last ages without drying up, are super black and are only £2.99!

  2. This looks great! I've just finished up an e.l.f. one, and may need to give this a try next! The colour looks so dense and dark!
