Colour Carnival • Rose Pink

Thursday, 26 February 2015

I like to mix up my nail colours as much as possible although, I must admit, I normally end up with either a nude or a pink on my fingers. I tend to stick with the brands I know do the job well. I normally go with either O.P.I or Barry M if I'm on a bit of a budget, but something drew me to the seventeen stand in boots this day. Fate. It was fate which brought myself and this little beauty together and we've be inseparable ever since.

I picked it up on a bit of a whim. I loved the colour- my classic go-to pink and knew I'd get the use out of it (although who cares at £1.99) but I wasn't expecting anything special. I was wrong. So wrong.

I'm just gonna get to the point- I love this range! The application is faultless with a flattened brush meaning more of the nail is covered in one swipe, and it just takes the two coats to get a fully opaque colour. Now, I have a number of nudes from O.P.I and these take at least 4 layers before i can even contemplate a top coat so I'm really impressed with the budget option. In terms of wear, I've had this on for 2 days now without any chips and it's still going strong (with my long nails this really is an achievement)

I've added another couple of shades to my collection since purchasing this- a khaki green and a silver- and both of these live up to the same standard. If you're looking for some budget nail colours then I really recommend this range!
