Stay Lean Tea Review & Giveaway | CLOSED |

Wednesday, 27 January 2016

There's nothing like the turn of a new year to inspire a lifestyle change. On the first of January, right on cue, I told myself the whole 'new year, new me' ethos I seem to every year, and began looking for ways I could lose weight, tone up and become happier in my own skin. I wanted a kick-start to my health kit and it arrived in the form of a teatox.

I've done the whole teatox thing before and to be honest, didn't rate it all that much. Although I found myself less bloated, I would also be waking up with extreme stomach pains and my body really didnt seem to agree with the whole concept. The end result just wasn't worth it. When Stay Lean Tea got in touch and pitched their 100% natural, laxative-free tea detox, I thought it was a great idea and couldn't wait to get started.
I opened the parcel (sent all the way from Australia!) to find two packets of teabags- one morning and one evening. It's a fairly straightforward process, you drink the morning tea every morning, and then the evening every-other evening. The combination of natural herbs is designed to detox the digestive system, increase fat loss and provide the body with nutrients. It's a claim made by the majority of detox teas, but the selling point of Stay Lean Tea (and the bit that really caught my eye) is the fact it's 100% laxative free. Meaning it's a much gentler detox to the system, and without those horrible side effects.
The list of ingredients is detailled on each packet and includes Camomile, Lemongrass, Goji Berry and Oolong Leaf...no, me neither! In terms of the taste, it's just as I expected... herbal! It's got that same taste that all herbal teas do which is something I love, but you can't deny that it definitely tastes very plant-y. I found myself looking forward to each tea and I loved the fact each one didn't come with a shed-load of side effects like ones I've tried in the past. In that aspect, I wouldn't have even known I was on a detox if it hadn't of been for the end results.
It's nothing dramatic and nothing too noticeable either, but I can definitely feel the difference. I feel less bloated than usual and it definitely helped to keep my energy levels higher in the mornings. I'm not the only one who's noticed the results as they have a whole heap of reviews on their website- some of the results are incredible! It's definitely something I'd try again- and actually something you can try too as Stay Lean Tea sent me another 14-day teatox to offer out as a giveaway!! Just enter below and cross your fingers...
